The Perfect July Wedding, July 2010
Steve and I can’t thank you enough for everything you
did for our wedding July 22, 2011. When we first got engaged,
we were a little overwhelmed with everything involved in planning
such an event. We hadn’t lived in Barrie for long enough
to know the perfect venues and retailers to rely on. We were
skeptical of hiring a wedding planner initially but one meeting
with you and you changed our minds! Your professionalism and
fun demeanor allowed us to have an easy relationship and made
wedding planning that much easier. Your insight into the industry
and what’s hot now allowed us to make well informed
decisions leading up to our big day.
Having you beside us the entire way, right down to the last
minute details and “emergency wardrobe malfunctions”
was a lifesaver. You saved us a ton of time by jumping in
and taking over even the smallest of details. You were adamant
that we were not going to sweat the small stuff or the big
stuff which completely allowed us to relax and enjoy our day.
We received tons of compliments on our wedding and how perfect
a day it was. We owe you and the staff of Fresh Occasion a
huge Thank You for making it so!!

Two Day Ceremony, Summer 2010
I am a very organized person; just ask any of my friends!
I love to make sure that everything is done in plenty of time
and that everyone knows what they are suppose to do, I would
make a great planner!
But because it was my wedding day and I did not want anything
to go wrong we started to look for a planner. We went to the
WPIC site and found a planner that was local and worked at
Cranberry resort before. We were referred to Fresh Occasion
& Debbie.
We hired Debbie for our “Month of Coordination”
– she corrected me when I asked about the “Day
of Coordination” – her response was – how
can you assist a bride by showing up on the day of the wedding,
I am not a guest! How True!!!
Debbie was amazing, I thought that I was organized…
she was super organized and the details, no wrinkles on any
of my table clothes…. She assisted my mother staying
calm, my maid of honor who also likes to control things said
Debbie was a great help in getting everyone to the site on
time and setting up the details for our reception as I would
have. Even when you think that you can do it by yourself…
call a professional like Debbie because she is worth it. I
was so happy with the work that we did together I actaully
slept great the week of my wedding!
Debbie, Our two day ceremony was fantastic thanks for everything!

Collingwood "Mountain" Wedding, Summer
2010
He asked, I said Yes! What more did I need to do?
My husband and I live in Beautiful B.C. but I wanted a wedding
in my home province of Ontario. We both love the mountains
and we choose Ontario’s “mountains” for
our wedding in Collingwood.
With only 8 months to plan the party I knew that I needed
help and I needed it fast. I was in my graduating year of
school and time was of the essence for me.
My mom recommended Fresh Occasion and Debbie’s Crew
came to our rescue. When we first started planning, I had
no idea what I wanted. All I had in mind was being outdoors
and I knew I wanted Manson Jars and homemade huckleberry jam
that we could pick and make. Boy did Fresh Occasion have their
work cut out for them!
From Day one Debbie kept me on track with phone calls, skype
and emails and ideas. Most of the planning was done long distance
with only one visit and one day for me to meet Debbie and
help pull it all together. Debbie lined up everyone and anyone
that needed to meet within 24 hours I was back on a plane
to BC to graduate.
The day of the wedding was one of the best days of my life.
I was calm and collected while Fresh Occasion guided us through
the day. From the beginning when anyone would ask about the
wedding all I could envision was walking down the aisle to
see the look on my husbands face. Fresh Occasion knew this
was what my wedding was about for me and made this the most
important part of the day. One of my favorite parts of the
days was when the Fresh Team organized a Congo line with all
my nephews, nieces and cousins. Fresh Occasion went the extra
mile by giving me memories that touched my soul.
Thanks to Debbie, Fresh Occasion and her Crew. The Manson’s

Stephanie & Luke T: Pink Baseball Wedding,
October 2, 2009
Debbie and her staff at Fresh Occasion were a great help
in planning our unique October wedding.
Debbie really helped take a lot of stress off both Luke and
I during the planning and they day of.
When you get engaged, the first thing you do is tell everyone,
go to a dress store and then think of what you want to see
at your wedding. BUT to pull this off you really need to think
about the planning process.
I attend school full-time, work part-time, and try to socialize
the last couple of hours a week. When do I have time to plan,
call, follow up? Fresh Occasion did that for me. Debbie called
vendors, set up appointments, helped with budgeting and making
sure that we both stuck to our time lines.
The day of the wedding went off without any situations, everything
was taken care of, and we didn't need to worry about a thing.
It was also nice because our family members could actually
enjoy themselves without rushing around to set up or get something
last minute. One of my bridesmaids forgot her bra at home
in Midland and Debbie went to the store she bought it and
purchased another one. Now tell me who has time to do that
just before the photographer arrives for photos?
It was a night to remember and we would recommend Fresh Occasion
Coordination to any couple getting married.
Thank you Debbie and your team at Fresh Occasion.

Midland Wedding - June 13, 2009
Debbie, thank you so much for all of your assistance
leading up to and on the day of our wedding. We were faced
with many challenges including the fact that we lived in Toronto
and planned a wedding in Midland, Ontario. The stress level
was higher than normal and the wedding planning was not a
smooth process until we met you. Our only regret was not hiring
you sooner!!!! We felt at ease knowing that you were there
to tightly manage the attentions to detail the day of the
wedding and throughout the reception. It truly allowed us
to enjoy our special day. Thank you for your continued support
and direction during this brief but momentous occasion in
our lives.

Family Unity Ceremony - July 2009
My husband and I were recently married in Jamaica
but upon returning to Canada it was very important for us
to have what we called a "Family Unity Ceremony".
We are a blended family and we wanted to make sure that our
children -- Gavin, Liam, and Emilie -- knew that it was as
much about us making a commitment to each other as it was
to them.
Debbie and her team at Fresh Occasion helped
us plan the most spectacular day. Debbie immediately saw our
vision of blending Christian traditions with East Indian heritage
and making the unification of our families center stage.
When tragedy hit one and a half weeks before
our Family Unity Ceremony, one phone call from us to Debbie
and she completely took over. We were unable to even be in
town the days leading up to the ceremony and she made sure
that every detail was taken care of and "almost"
completely eliminated our stress.
Debbie, Murray and I cannot thank you enough
for your tireless work surrounding our very special day. It
is a day that none of us will ever forget and, because of
you and your team, it was one that was beyond what we could
have ever hoped for.
